133 things I love about my 3-year-old on January 3rd

I love...
*the way she says her name
*that she recognizes the letter R and says it is for her name
*her exceptional verbal skills
*that she can pedal a trike
*that she can scoot on a scooter
*that she wants to wear a helmet
*that she loves her knee and elbow pads
*that she loves the park
*that she loves the swings and always wants to go on them at the park
*that she told me that she was going to college when she is bigger and then asked if there would be swings there
*her eyes
*the way she looks when her hair is pulled back
*the way she plays in the bath tub
*the outfits she chooses
*that she wears her leg warmers as arm warmers
*that she totally loves her baby sister and never gets jealous
*her smile
*her sheer delight in bouncing or jumping
*her love of running
*her interest in art
*her sense that everything should be a particluar way
*her sense of cleanliness
*her love of food
*her behavior in restaurants
*her willingness to try new foods
*the way she helps herself to food from her snack shelf
*the way she picks out food at the grocery store
*her love of her family members
*her interest in the family tree
*the way she is always thinking about her family and friends
*how much she loves presents
*that she was born tall and she still is
*the way she can easily play with kids she has just met
*how wonderful she is at sharing
*how much she loves school
*her fascination with airplanes and dinosaurs
*the way she lights up over girly things that are pink or princess-themed
*her obsession with quoting or pointing out similarities to her favorite movies

*that she loves to push a stroller or shopping cart
*that she thinks it's really funny every time I sweep her up in a big hug

*that she always wants to be helpful (so she will bring you things from around the house)
*when she gets seated at a restaurant, she immediately picks up the knife and hands it to an adult announcing that it is a sharp knife
*that she is always eager to learn something new
*that she loves music
*that she has good rhythm when she dances
*that she used to dance by tipping her body back and forth like a hula doll
*that she enjoys wearing sunglasses
*her love of wearing a scarf, even when it is warm
*that she forgives me when I am a less-than-perfect mommy
*that she tells her daddy that she doesn't want him to be in a bad mood
*that she is in love with her daddy
*that when she's in the middle of doing something, she says, "I'm having a fun time.  Are you having a fun time?" (continued from January 4th-6th because my mother's visit limited my computer time)
*the way when she throws a ball she really beans it
*her love of Barack Obama
*her eyelashes
*that she calls her eyelashes her "eyelashings"
*that I know all the words she says wrong (like "spider webs" for spider bites, "pencils" for pretzles, "band aid" for head band)
*that she expects nothing from ToysRUs but time on the mechanical rides
*that she calls ToysRUs the Push-A-Money store because she gets to push the money in the slot on the mechanical rides
*the way she says her sister's name
*the way she mmicks other people's expressions ("Oh bummer!", "Sure!", "Sorry!")
*that she memorized her Froggy book and can "read" it to you
*that she wants to eat whatever you're eating
*that she loves dark chocolate
*that she loves to paint
*that she talks about memories she has of months and even years ago (her birthday party, her really badly scraped knees, the family art day at the museum)
*that she loves to dress up
*that she loves to help cook
*that she brings things to us from around the house to try to engage us despite our trying to deter her
*that she says she's "frustrating" when she means she's frustrated
*that she will go for a long walk or bike ride
*that she can pump on the swings like a big kid
*the way she puts her hands palms up when she is being expressive
*that her hair has never been cut
*that she didn't have birthday cake on her 2nd birthday
*that she didn't have cake until she was nearly 3
*that she loves video conferencing
*that she loves talking on the phone
*that she loves putting the phone on speaker phone
*that when she pretends to be on the phone she says, "Can you hear me?" and "Hold on a sec."
*that she requests me to "send a message" to someone and knows I will send them and e-mail or text message
*that she devours berries
*that I take her everywhere with me
*that she goes to work with me
*that she loves playing with her child's DVD remote control
*that she loves singing
*that she loves the moon
*that she recently described the crescent moon as being broken and looking like a banana
*that she loves her bedtime ritual
*that she loves being read to
*that she calls whichever of my arms she is rubbing "the big arm"
*that she likes to switch sleeping places with daddy in the middle of the night
*the way she used to tilt her head back and sleep with her little fists under her little chin when she was a baby
*the way she compliments my clothes when I wear something new
*that she asked if she could go to our friend's house and give us "a break" from her
*that we can leave her with people and she will have a great time
*that she can hang out with adults fairly well
*that she likes to tell her sister not to eat things that she puts in her mouth
*that she has a sense of what toys are not good for babies
*that she usually asks before doing something we might find objectionable
*that she loves jumping on the bed
*that she loves the screetchy monkey dolls I put in her room
*that she loves her bed
*the way she stumbles around like a zombie when she's groggy after a nap
*the way she strokes her sister's hair
*that she can blow her nose by herself perfectly
*that she recycles
*that she suggests we save things to reuse them
*that she asks so many good questions
*that instead of being a typical toddler and thinking everything she saw was hers, she always understood and would say something was "the same as" hers
*that she says "catch me up" instead of "catch up to me"
*that she dreamt about her daddy the night before he returned from his trip
*that we can share food
*that someday she will be taller than me
*that she sometimes says she forgot to say "thank you" for something (even though she usually didn't forget)
*that she loved going to see a car race with her dad
*that she already talks about when she will get to drive someday
*the ridiculous face she makes when you ask her to smile for a picture
*that she loves taking pictures
*her laugh
*that every once in a while she will give me a kiss out of the blue
*that she loves it when I hell her I love her
*that she thinks it is funny when I instert her name into songs
*that she loves sushi, and and other foods she can dip
*that she is my daughter
